Plan A is out… welcome Plan B

I’m really sad about the problems in New Orleans :( I hope everybody are ok.
So now i must cancell the visit to New Orleans and seek another city or saty more time in NY and Boston. I think Las Vegas can be a nice place so i dont meet anybody there.

any suggest?

13 : bus Boston 15$ 15:00-19:30

18 : fly NewOrleans $219.50 6:00-13:44

22 : fly NY 11:45-17:55

27 : back to spain, JFK 19:40

Meet with:

Boston : Seemant

New Orleans : Jory (anarchy)

New York : laxeter ?, dostrow?, klieber?

So i yet need a guide in NY :P. Tha plan is:

Arrive/departure NY (jfk) 13 Sept. 13:00 – 27 Sept. 19:40

13 – 14 NY (I’m yet need a bed in NY for one night)

14 – 18 bus to Boston (greyhound 10:00-14:30 round trip 60$) to meet Seemant

18 – 23 i back to NY and fly to New Orleans (Delta 17:20->21:50, 14:40

23 – 27 4 days in Ny :)

So here is the plan, I’m yet need nice/cheaps hotels to NY, New Orleans and Boston.

In other hand this morning i watched “Sin City” just… WoW so great film….

USA wait for me :P

I will travel to USA 13-27 September (yes the next month) with a friend

The fly arrival in NY but i want to visit several places:

New York

Las Vegas

New Orleans

if somebody can/want help us to roganize this is welcome :P
We need maps, routes, tickest prices, cheap hotels. cheap rooms (we can pay with beer :P)

PalmOs Linux based and searching a PDA

Was a great news read this open-letter to linux community by palm, so a PalmOs linux based can be very nice in a nice Palm PDA :D
So searching for a nice PDA i hae a lot of problems:

Well im planning a 15 days travel to USA in september :) (bass USA tour 05), so i’m thinking in buy a PDA with WiFi and GPS for the travel. And i prefer a PalmOs model so Linux and WinMobile are accepted too.

What i need?

wifi (i prefer built-in so no problem with ext)

gps (i prefer built-in so no pronlem with ext)

not too much expensive (i will buy it in the first day in New York so i will pay in $)

What i don’t need? (so if the price is the same i can admit it)

camera and not util staff…

My frist PDA election was T5, if i buy it in palmone store a have free the sd-wifi card. It is more powerfull than C and are similar price, so C have the WiFi built-in. So i choose T5 for the powerfull CPU and RAM. But it don’t have GPS (any palm have it).
Searching for a GPM module (BlueTooth ot wired) i found my favorite Tom Tom Go but it’s really expensive. Other GPS options are this and this. But i’m a new comer in PDA/GPS-Land so i dont know what kind of maps of soft use this devices.

Other PDA option is the Sony Clie, it have BT and WiFi built-in so the price is similar too, and it uses PalmOs, So not GPS :(

I’m really going crazy :P

No more Doc-Es for me…

I‘m leaving the lead of the Spanish Doc team. Really i leaved it a few weeks ago, so just Swift known it :P

2-3 year of leading this team is sufficent for me. Was very nice to be the first spanish dev, to create the spanish team, the spanish forums, the spanish comunity…. So im really demotivated lately and a few team members really do a lot to help me to leave. An in other hand i have 2 full time jobs that i need to live.

Thanks to everybody that help the team all this time for a great work :) I will still aroun the doc team trying to help and of course im yet a Gentoo Dev.
I think that my most interesting gentoo dev actually is Gentoo-GNAP. I’m helping a little Koon in this task. Maybe soon i put some of the stuff i’m using with GNAP in my office.
